Glastonbury Festival partners with Hunt’s Foodservice

Glastonbury Festival is the UK’s biggest festival of contemporary performing arts and attracts thousands of people to the heart of Somerset at the end of June. Glastonbury Festival founder, Michael Eavis has chosen local company, Hunt’s Foodservice to return for the 3rd year and supply frozen, chilled and ambient food to the onsite caterers.

Glastonbury Festival spend millions of pounds every year and are committed to buying local where possible. Hunt’s share the festivals ethos and support farmers and producers across the West Country. From West Country Beef to Somerset Cheddar’s and Dorset Clotted Cream, Hunt’s supply a variety of local fresh and frozen produce along with household brands. Hunt’s partnership with Glastonbury Festival will help them to support West Country communities and reduce their carbon footprint with minimal food miles.

Hunt’s will be onsite throughout the week with a dedicated team and stock holding to manage the festival demand. Hunt’s nearby cold store at Sherborne HQ will also be on hand to satisfying any specific festival requirements.
