Hunt's Foodservice support Dorset Harbour Bites to raise money for charity

Hunt’s Foodservice is proud to be sponsoring Harbour Bites, the West Bay Food Weekend 2015. Harbour Bites is a new food event hosted in West Bay (aka ‘Broadchurch’) on the 18th & 19th July and involves tasting, cooking, shopping and chopping some of the best food & drink from across Dorset and the South West.

This new food festival has been inspired by the lifesaving work of Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and as a result, all profits from the organisation of the event will be donated to the Air Ambulance charity. Hunt’s will be sponsoring the event to help promote the festivals message, support local producers and raise money for charity.

Caroline Richards, Hive Beach Café and Harbour Bites Events Co-ordinator said: “The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance have recently saved the life of a close friend of the organisers and the fantastic service they provide is what inspired us to create an event to celebrate their work and give something back. We have been working with Hunt’s for many years and delighted that we have their support.”

Richard Hunt, Managing Director of Hunt’s Foodservice comments: “Hunt’s are a Dorset based company with operations spreading all across the South West who like many others in the region, will rely on services such as the Air Ambulance to help us in the time of need. I am very pleased to be sponsoring Harbour Bites and think this event is a fantastic way to raise money and promote the culinary delights of the South West.”
