We are seeking Class 2 Drivers to operate out of our Sherborne depot. This is an opportunity to join a fast paced, growing business, with a fleet of over 100 vehicles across the South West.

Job Summary

The role of a Class 2 Driver entails:

Average of 15-20 drops per day sometimes more in peak months
Multi drop
Dealing with cash on delivery customers
Picking frozen, chilled and ambient goods from pallets
Deliveries made using sack trucks


Full CPC qualification essential

Class 2 licence is essential

2 years’ experience desirable but not essential.


£27,500 per annum

Full Time Permanent

Over time - Every other Saturday during peak periods at £120 per day

We are looking to employ additional temporary warehouse staff for various shifts based at Sherborne, Dorset. The role will predominantly be picking and packing food products using headset technology. Employees are expected to work in freezer, chill, and ambient conditions.

Hours of work:

Fixed term temporary contract with potential for Full time. 5 days per week on a fixed weekly schedule. Good potential for overtime.

Shifts available. (Stating at 1:30pm)

Guaranteed 37.5 hours per week but must be flexible up to 50 hours if needed during busy periods.

Pay: 0 - 40 hours: Hourly rate dependant on shift. Overtime rate after 40 hours. Performance bonus if daily targets are met.

We are seeking candidates with a good work ethic who are reliable and able to work in a physically demanding role. Applicants must be adaptable to working long hours.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Temporary roles available, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

We are seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator. The successful candidate will join the existing team who are currently responsible for all payroll and human resources matters. We are looking for a self-motived individual who is organised and has a keen eye for detail.

The role will cover processing the payroll from start to finish. You will be expected to collate information for, and process payroll timely, accurately, and methodically. Processing pension data including adding or removing employees on the pension portal. Ensuring all monthly and annual Inland Revenue returns are submitted on time. In addition to payroll duties, you will be responsible for the management of the HR computer system, which encompasses time keeping, holiday calendars and record keeping.

The successful candidate will be dependable and will take full responsibility for their position whilst having the support of a senior manager. We are looking for a good communicator who has strong interpersonal and organisation skills. A high level of computer knowledge, particularly of Sage Payroll and Excel is essential. So too is the ability to work professionally, in a discrete and confidential manner.

A full UK driving license and payroll experience are required.

CREATIVE CONTENT PRODUCER (Video, Animation, Digital)


This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic school or university leaver or similar looking to gain some valuable experience in a creative, digital role. You will be helping us to kick start our digital transformation as a valuable contributor to the team and wider business, with the freedom to get creative by promoting the Hunt’s Group and its consumer brands through video and animation.

Working closely with the marketing team, your job will be to create video content that appropriately reflects the company’s brand and helps to achieve the marketing objectives. There will be a strong focus on animation and videography to enhance our website and social media pages as well as internal communication. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast paced, marketing department working on a mixture of B2B and B2C branded content.  


Creating multiple animated ‘how to’ videos for our market leading ‘Zero Waste’ food solution
Creating videography and animations for our social media channels and website
Develop an informative and engaging company brand video as part of our new wider group brand project
Working alongside the marketing team to set up a video content calendar
Post production and editing of all animation and videography
Uploading creative content onto the company's website, social channels, and online drives


Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Experience or a creative passion for animation, videography and creating digital content.
Experience or a passionate interest in designing brand content for web, desktop and mobile
Excellent creative, written and communication skills
Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as contribute to the wider Marketing team.
Great eye for detail with the ability to multitask
A positive and can-do attitude
Full driving license

This is a voluntary, unpaid role with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the creative industry and to work in a unique Marketing department. Duration of the placement is flexible and open for discussion. Hours will be part time and the successful candidate will need to be able to be able to travel to either our Sherborne, Dorset or Bridgwater, Somerset offices. Some remote working available. Film, editing and recording equipment will need to be provided by applicant.
